Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and BX Precision Engineering ("we", "us") for the use of the CloudLase GO app. By installing or using CloudLase GO you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the app.

Laser safety acknowledgement

CloudLase GO controls real laser projectors. Laser radiation can cause permanent eye injury, skin injury, and fire. You acknowledge and agree that:

  • You are solely responsible for the safe installation, configuration, scanning limits, beam termination, and audience separation of your laser equipment.
  • You will operate only equipment you are authorised and competent to operate, and you will comply with all laser safety laws and regulations that apply where you operate.
  • The app's preview, brightness ceilings, scan limits, and E-STOP are aids, not guarantees of safety. They do not replace proper laser safety practice, hardware interlocks, or a trained operator.

Licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use CloudLase GO on devices you own or control, subject to these terms and the device limit of your licence. CloudLase GO is included with eligible CloudLase early-adopter licences and may also be purchased on the App Store. You may not reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the app except as allowed by law.

Acceptable use

You will not use CloudLase GO to harm people, aircraft, vehicles, or property, to aim laser output at any person's eyes, or for any unlawful purpose.

No warranty

CloudLase GO is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error free, or that it will detect or prevent unsafe conditions.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BX Precision Engineering is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any injury, death, property damage, or loss arising from the use or misuse of laser equipment controlled by CloudLase GO. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including under the Australian Consumer Law where it applies.

Changes and termination

We may update these terms; material changes will be noted in the app or on this page with a new date. We may suspend or terminate access if these terms are breached. You may stop using the app at any time.
