Support

We answer email, usually within a day.

The fastest way to get help is to email brett@cloudlase.studio. Tell us your iPhone model, your iOS version, which DAC you are using (EtherDream, LaserCube WiFi, or IDN), and what happened.

Requirements

  • iPhone or iPad on iOS 17 or later.
  • A network laser DAC: EtherDream, LaserCube WiFi, or an IDN-Stream device.
  • Your iPhone and the DAC on the same Wi-Fi network.

My DAC does not show up

  • Confirm the phone and the DAC are on the same Wi-Fi, not a guest network.
  • Some Wi-Fi routers block device-to-device traffic ("AP isolation" or "client isolation"). Turn it off.
  • When iOS first asks, allow CloudLase GO to access the local network. If you declined, enable it in iOS Settings under CloudLase GO.
  • USB-only DACs such as Helios and LaserCube over USB are not supported on iPhone, because there is no USB host for them.

Activating my key

  • CloudLase GO is included with CloudLase early-adopter licences. Use the same key you used on desktop.
  • Open the Setup tab, tap Activate, and paste the key, which starts with key/.
  • You can confirm your key is eligible on the Activate page before you download.
  • Lost your key? Email us and we will resend the one tied to your purchase.

Audio reactivity

  • Allow microphone access when prompted, or enable it in iOS Settings under CloudLase GO.
  • For the cleanest signal, use a line-in audio interface rather than the built-in mic in a loud room.
  • Audio is analysed on your device and never recorded or sent anywhere. See the Privacy Policy.

Safety

CloudLase GO controls real laser hardware. E-STOP is always on screen and stops output at the protocol level; backgrounding the app disarms output. You remain responsible for safe setup, scanning limits, and audience separation under the laser safety regulations that apply where you operate. If anything ever looks wrong, hit E-STOP.
